Anna Marie Prassa


Anna Marie Prassa has spent 25 years as a natural healer, wellness practitioner, author, researcher, educator, and professional speaker. Anna Marie earned her chaplaincy through the Association for Clinical Pastors located in an inner city, level one trauma department, and medical center in Phoenix, Arizona. Anna Marie is a member of the Association of Clinical Pastors.

In 1986 Anna Marie founded Executive Stress Busters, Inc. and pioneered the 15 minute in-office massage concept to combat workplace stress, computer related ailments, and workplace injuries. She grew this concept into a national company with offices in Los Angeles and Chicago.

In 1995, Anna Marie expanded her Natural Day Spa, an environment to naturally stimulate the 5 Senses by providing therapies, which will activate the natural, dormant, healing chemicals to bring the body into perfect balance.

As a pioneer of natural workplace wellness, Anna Marie has been featured in numerous newspaper, radio, television news programs and featured in the Entrepreneurial Woman’s Magazine. For over one year, she appeared weekly, in her own live segment on the local NBC affiliate morning news program, presenting various natural wellness topics.

Anna Marie is a highly trained neuromuscular structural therapist and motivational speaker. For the past 25 years Anna Marie ran two – million dollar companies and has written and presented over 20 different topics. Anna Marie has authored four hands-on workbooks titled “Where Are Your Muscles When Your Mind Is at Work”, “Balancing Work, Family, and Self”, “Avoid the Holiday Stress” and “The Moderator’s Story”. Anna Marie has also developed a self-massage tool and system, the Ac-U-Pointer and Body Scape Map, which is sold retail in stores and though her seminars. Currently, Anna Marie is looking at a long-term research book title “The History of Healing”.

Along with her B.S. degree, Anna Marie has completed workshops and medical research programs at the Touch Research Institute, at the University of Miami, School of Medicine, and attended internship programs at the University of Arizona. Anna Marie has conducted extensive research on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Headaches, and Temporal mandible Joint disorder. Along with 25 years experience working with the muscular system, Anna Marie has completed over 17,300 hours in training, and research. Anna Marie has spoken to many health and safety organizations, including the Southwest Safety Congress, Occupational Nurses Association, Arizona Public Service Fire Department, and other Corporations and Universities in the US.

As a public member, Anna Marie had five appointments to government regulatory boards by the Governor of Arizona. Anna Marie currently holds a position on the Arizona Medical Board.

In April 2001, Anna Marie left both of her businesses in pursuit of her speaking and writing career.

In 2006, Anna Marie was accepted into an intense; two-year Clinical Pastor Education program located in Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, which is an inner city, trauma one hospital. During her education, Anna Marie counseled inter-faith, multi-cultural, homeless, drug addicts, bereaving families, and assisted those who are ill or in the process of dying. Anna Marie also conducted a weekly spirituality group in the psychiatric unit for one and a half years.

Currently, Anna Marie has begun a grief counseling practice in Phoenix to assist those who have loss in their lives.
